With jqtransform (http://plugins.jquery.com/project/jqtransform) you can skin form elements.
I ran into a problem. I had some radiobuttons with onclick events, but with jqtransform, the onclick events wasn’t fired.
I solved this by adding an onclick event to the jqtransform link, if my radiobutton have an onclick event.
All it took was two line of codes
-
if(inputSelf.onclick)
-
inputSelf.click();

Today we launched beta 2 og digitaliser.dk. Among the new things is that users can create an account, login, create groups and resources, comment on news and resources.
Now Apple also made it to the Simpsons. In this blog post you can see how Simpsons mocks Apple.

Always cold beers
Today i went to the XY gas station to fill my car and saw this pretty funny add.
The add is for beers and the large text says “Always cold beers”. This is not so funny in itself, but XY has a slogan “Vi lægger mer engeri i bilister”, which freely translates into “We put more energy in drivers”. That’s the white text in the black at the bottom of the poster.
Whoever thought this poster out should have removed the slogan from it. It’s just bad branding.

At one of the blogs I frequently read (http://www.amino.dk/blogs/thorborg) I just saw this sign. It’s pretty funny. Martin found it at the Universal Studio Theme Park.

Today I went to the iPhone Tech Talk in Copenhagen. In fact I’m still there. I can’t say much on what went on there, because it isn’t allowed. One thing I will say though – in fact I’ll say two things.
First off, I don’t understand why Apple set the entry barrier to the development program so high – there one thing they could learn from Microsoft. Make it easy for developers to make extensions/programs to the platform, then the platform will become popular.
Second, when you’re over the barrier it looks fairly easy to start making programs for the iPhone.
Just my two cents after a day with Apple evangelists.

So now we launched another site at Designit. A cool thing about this site is that it’s entirely Umbraco based. We haven’t developed a single usercontrol, hardcoded anything or other shortcuts to manage this website.
See the website at: http://www.myebag.dk
The last couple of days i’ve been at a scrum master course, so now I can also call myself Certifed Scrum Master.

So yet another launch today. The company I work for (Designit) just launched a new design of our website.
Or actually it’s only the frontpage that got a new design. My favorite of the new design is the showreel videos – they look amazing – great job by the 3D and animation guys.
Go and see for yourself at http://designit.com
Today my departement launched yet another site. This time it’s a site for the Danish National IT and Telecom Agency. It’s the first full blown open source system, build in an agile process (scrum) in a Danish National institution. It’s been a great learning experience for both us and the Danish National IT and Telecom Agency.
The site is currently in beta 1 and we’ll keep on developing until February 2009.
